My favorite chart, this shows price of silver from 2000 to 2011. Take one look and you see extraordinary growth to the tune of over 500% and its just getting started!
Now take a look at the gold price chart from that same time period.
Upon first glance it looks like higher growth. However lets take a look at percentage figures.
we get a 350% gain. Gold remains a very bullish commodity but silver has outperformed gold over this time period.
Here is a cotton chart from 2000-2011. As you can see growth is exponential. in fact cotton was the one of the few commodities to outperform silver in 2010. In the words of Peter Shiff: "My Boxer Briefs Outperfomed the S&P This Year!"
