Serbian Protests

In Belgrade today 55,000 protesters and opposition party supporters rallied in the streets demanding economic reform. They where angry with rising unemployment and low wages. Some say there where as many as 70,000 protesters wow! This is very interesting indeed because it is the first non Arab country to have mass protests like this since the Tunisian protests took place. Do not think for one minute that this social unrest is confined to the Arab world. It is not, this is a world wide movement with the economy at the root of all frustrations. Expect further protests in other countries to break out in the coming weeks and months. See the News Article Database for an article about these latest protests.
